Meet the Committee

Southerner

Daniel Dyer, is our president and he leads the Committee in their weekly meetings. In these meetings they look at how the past week has gone, what can be improved upon and making sure the next week’s events are being taken care of.

MK

Jess Davidson, is our VP and she helps Dan organize the committee meetings as well as Fresher’s Week in September. If you see her (or anyone wearing a CU T-shirt!) during Fresher’s Week, say hello because she’s bound to know what events you can come along to.

No, this is my food!

Andy Barthow, leads the Creative Outreach team. He is primarily in charge of organizing the 1 in 4 Events and coming up with new ideas to spread the gospel and have fun.

As far as geeks go...

Neil Tomlin, heads up a team in control of Lunchbars and other ways of continuing to share the gospel with our friends and other students at the university.

Kate Woolmore, helps the Hallgroup Leaders organise the weekly Hallgroup meetings and their monthly GO Events.

Cornes

Sophie Cornes, responsible for events aimed at International Students including the Globe Cafe and International Welcome Week in September.

Miss Loudmouth

Alice Reilly, is our Secretary and types like a machine. She does a lot behind the scenes as well as writing up the minutes.

Chico Peruano

Ben Parkins, is the Treasurer and he will be wanting your money! (Don’t worry you don’t have to give if you don’t want to!). Ben is also in charge of organizing our annual weekend away.

Monkeyman

David Tan, the man with the plan. He encourages the CU in prayer and leads Launch which is our Monday morning prayer time open to everyone. He will send you prayer points and encouragements by texts every week or so!
